Massa Ticino fondant in the colour black is ideal for covering cakes or modelling fondant decorations.

The fondant can be flavoured as desired. The advantage of this fondant is that it does not "sweat" in hot and humid ambient temperatures.

Tip:

To roll out the fondant, all you need is our baker's starch, a rolling pin and a non-stick mat.

Moisten the underside of the non-stick mat and then place it on a table or worktop. You can then powder the mat with a little baker's starch. This will prevent the fondant from sticking to the mat. You can then simply roll out the fondant on it. It is important that you do not turn the fondant, but always turn it clockwise with the side that sticks to the baker's starch.

This will give you a perfectly round fondant layer that you can then place on top of your cake.

As the fondant cover is not turned over when it is rolled out, you will not have any white residue from the baker's starch on the fondant cover afterwardsab.

If there is, you can easily remove it with a brush.

Important:

Do not use too much baker's starch, as too much can dry out the fondant and make it brittle.
