Our baker's starch based on pure potato starch is a real must-have for anyone who regularly works with roll-out fondant or silicone moulds. The extra fine, powdery consistency ensures that the fondant does not stick to the rolling pin, base or moulds - without any lumps or residue.

With a content of approx. 400 g, you receive a generous amount of special starch that has been specially developed for use in baking practice. Ideal for rolling out fondant, modelling clay or flower paste - abit is also ideal for dusting silicone moulds to remove intricate details cleanly from the mould.

Application & tips for best results:

1️⃣ Roll out the fondant:

  • Lightly dust a non-stick mat or work surface with baking starch.
  • Turn the fondant clockwise without turning it - this creates a perfectly round top.

Dust 2️⃣ silicone moulds:

  • Lightly dust the mould with a soft brush or fingertips before pouring in the modelling paste.

3️⃣ Important:

  • Never underwork! Baker's starch must not be kneaded into the fondant, otherwise it will become dry, brittle or cracked.

Tip: Gently remove any residue with a dry brush after covering - this will keep the surface nice and smooth.
