Brilliant sugar paper is suitable for decorating all cake surfaces, including cream and whipped cream. It is relatively tasteless, very thin and therefore our recommendation for the production of photo cake toppers.
Product details:
- Size A3 approx. 297 x 420mm, 30sheets per pack
- Store in a cool, dry place
- After removing a sheet, reseal the packaging to make it airtight
- Paper thickness approx. 0.5-0.6mm
If the packaging is not closed properly, the paper can dry out and become brittle.
Tip: If the paper is too dry and crumbles a little, place a damp paper towel under the last paper in the packaging. The kitchen paper should only come into contact with the backing film and not with the sugar paper.
Shelf life 18 months.
You can use the food pens LE-320009 to label the edible paper or draw a wide variety of motifs on the paper yourself.
Application:
To achieve a perfect print result, we recommend selecting the high-resolution print setting and the "Envelope" media type. Allow the paper to dry for a few minutes after printing, then it can be removed from the backing film. If the paper is difficult to remove ab, carefully pull the printed sheet over the edge of a table or lay it on a flat surface. Place in the freezer for 1 minute.
Once the backing film has been removed, the brilliant paper can now be placed directly on the cake.
Please note: The printed paper can be used directly on cream or custard, but it is advisable abto apply the photo to the cake just before eating it.
Alternatively, it can also be insulated from below with e.g. rolled fondant or fat icing or sealed with food varnish. The sugar paper will then last for several hours.
Tip:
Only place your cake with the photo in a very dry chiller. If your refrigerator tends to form condensation, like a normal refrigerator, the cake should be placed in the refrigerator without the picture, otherwise it may run.
