Fondant paper

The fondant paper is suitable for decorating all cake surfaces, including cream and whipped cream. It is relatively sweet and has a smooth, snow-white surface.
Product details:
- size A3 approx. 297 x 420mm, 10 sheets per pack
- store in a cool, dry place
- close the packaging airtight again after removing a sheet
- paper thickness approx. 0.75mm
If the packaging is not closed properly, the paper can dry out and become brittle.
Tip:
If the paper is too dry and crumbles a little, place a damp paper towel under the last paper in the packaging. The kitchen paper should only come into contact with the carrier film, not the sugar paper.
Shelf life 18 months.
Application:
To achieve a perfect print result, we recommend selecting the high-resolution print setting and the "Envelope" media type. Leave a small stack of normal paper in the feed tray behind the fondant paper.
Leave the paper to dry for a few minutes after printing, then it can be removed from the backing film. If the paper is difficult to remove, carefully pull the printed sheet over the edge of a table or place it in the freezer for approx. 1 minute.
Once the backing film has been removed, the fondant paper can now be placed directly on the cake.
Please note that the printed paper cannot be used directly on cream or custard, so it is advisable to place the photo on the cake just before eating it. Alternatively, you can insulate from below with e.g. rolled fondant or fat icing or seal with food varnish. The paper will then last for several hours.
Tip:
Only place your cake with the photo in a very dry refrigerator. If the cooler tends to form condensation, like a normal fridge, the cake should be placed in the cooler without the picture, otherwise it may run.
