Isomalt is suitable for the production of sugar sculptures. It is a sugar substitute and can be substituted 1:1 for sugar. It has a very low effect on blood glucose and insulin levels and therefore also a very low glycaemic index. Isomalt is also suitable for diabetics. Isomalt is NOT a sweetener!
Instructions for use:
Heat on the hob or in the oven until the isomalt has liquefied or heat in the microwave at intervals and stir occasionally. Only use fireproof crockery!
Warning: When isomalt is liquid, it can reach a temperature of over 150°Caband there is a risk of burns.
